Gurupurnima was celebrated on the school premises on July 9, 2017 in the evening. The occasion is known for showing gratitude towards all teachers who have made a difference in the lives of students. The celebration began with the Paduka puja of our Sadguru Shri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi by Brahmacharini Umaji and Brahmacharini Jujuji, followed by Samskriti puja. The children followed the instructions given and performed puja of their parents’/guru’s feet. Devotees, teachers and students also sang mesmerizing bhajans. A satsang on ‘Guru Mahima’ was given by one of the senior teachers, Ms. Uttara Agnihotri. Amma’s aarti was performed at the end and Mahaprasadam was distributed to all.
