English Recitation and Elocution Competition was held in the school for classes 1 to 12, in the month of July from 17th to 31st. The competition was conducted to build confidence and strengthen language skills of the students. Topics given to students were different for different classes. Students showed great enthusiasm in participating. English teachers had a major role in encouraging students to participate. The student’s speech was judged on the relevance of content, fluency, accent, pronunciation and grammatical correctness. Three positions for each class were declared and would be awarded with certificates.
